This event is also hosted on April 25 from 2-4pm. See below for enrollment information.

There are 80 known technologies, methods, and new applications that have the potential of "drawing down" over 1,000 gigatons of greenhouse gas emissions out of our atmosphere if reproduced in large-scale. Join graduate students from Western Colorado University in an introductory presentation and discussion on the sustainable innovations detailed in Paul Hawken's internationally acclaimed book "Drawdown: the Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming". In light of recent news, we've adapted this presentation to an online-only forum. Master of Environmental Management students will begin with an overview presentation of drawdown solutions that can drastically reduce the impacts of global warming. Participants will then break out into mediated discussion groups to identify actions and map out long-term advocacy plans for local, national, and global initiatives. Attendees will choose to participate in one of three discussion groups-- 1) energy, buildings, and cities, 2) food systems and land use, and 3) transportation and materials. Discussion groups will be limited to 25 participants on a first-come, first-served basis so sign up today to reserve your spot! This forum is designed to create open dialogue about climate change solutions and engage communities to take action.

Please enroll for this free event to receive the Zoom link to join. We will be hosting a second duplicate event on April 25 from 2-4pm, please enroll through the following link: https://connect.pachamama.org/event/project-drawdown-c3s-climate-change-community-solutions-0.
