Since 2007, Seven Generations has been working in partnership with the Pachamama Alliance. We provide Awakening the Dreamer Symposium, ATD facilitator training and Game Changer Intensive with Japanese translation. We also provide opportunities to visit Amazon rainforest with the assistance of Pachamama Alliance, especially for Japanese groups.
Who We Are and What We Do
The name “Seven Generations” is adopted from Native Americans' way of decision making that consider the consequences over seven generations. It also has a meaning to generate and bring forth seven qualities: awareness, wisdom, interconnectedness, possibility, action, courage and hope. Through our activities, with the consideration for seven generations ahead of us and generating these seven creations, we aim to hand over a sustainable and just world to future generations.

We cultivate the community of awaking global citizens in order to achieve sustainable and just future.
We cherish 7 values:

7. Embodiment
The Birth of Seven Generations: Our Community Story
In 2008 Hidetake Enomoto introduced Awakening the Dreamer Symposium to Japan, with the great effort of translating all of the ATD Materials. He accomplished this with his team called "Pachamama Angels." With his initiative, the team created the nonprofit organization "Seven Generations" in April 2009.
In June 2009, the first facilitator training was held with Tracy Apple as training leader together with Hidetake Enomoto, and 32 Japanese facilitators were born. Since then we provided 29 ATD Facilitator training sessions. Currently we have 252 ATD facilitators in Japan.
In March 2010, Seven Generations was authenticated as a Specified Nonprofit Organization by Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Along with the renewal of ATD versions, we have been making Japanese version and Facilitator Manual. All renewal in Japanese are done by enthusiastic volunteers. The dub into Japanese are recorded by Japanese ATD facilitators, and this makes these Japanese versions more memorable and precious to us.
In March 2010 and October 2016, members from our community visited Amazon rainforest with the assistance of Pachamama Alliance. The first trip was organized by Hidetake Enomoto himself with the intention to visit the source of ATD. The second trip was produced by Seven Generations. This second trip was made memorable and meaningful by the guide Daniel Koupermann, who guided Lynne and Bill twist's first visit to Amazon. Further, this trip was captured Japanese filmmaker Yukari Tatsumura and became a movie called "Vision of Achuar."
In May 2014, we had honor to welcome Lynne Twist as a facilitator of ATD along with Hidetake Enomoto. 420 people joined this symposium.
In September 2016, Lynne and Hidetake delivered an epic event titled "Change the Dream, Change the Game, and Change the World." This event was focusing on those who are aiming, hoping, and struggling to make our world better place. Over 190 game changers participated this event.
In the end of year 2016, GCI Japanese team was launched. This team is committed to bring Game Changer Intensive contents to Japanese audience. With intense two months effort, we are successfully providing GCI with Japanese translations from January 2017.
2018, we are going to cherish 10 years anniversary of ATD Japanese delivery!
Our Activities
Change the Dream Symposium (ATD)
We have been providing ATD since 2008 and over 4000 people have taken the symposium. The symposium held in 2014 with Lynne Twist was the largest ATD symposium in Japan. Since 2016, we started to provide online symposium utilizing online meeting tool called ZOOM. This innovative tool enable us to connect with the people all over Japan and provide symposium regardless of where they live. Currently almost 50% of symposium is being delivered with ZOOM so even people living in overseas can join the symposium in Japanese.
ATD Facilitator Training
Initially, Facilitator Training (FT) were provided as 4day-program. Currently it became 2day-session plus 1day having one month interval in between. We provided 29 FT courses over 8 years and 252 facilitators were born.
In 2018, we are in the process of reviewing FT contents and developing the renewal version of FT training, that are meant to be more focused on not only ATD delivery but also growing people who are committed to live the New Story.
Game Changer Intensive
In late 2016, a group of volunteers came together in order to offer Game Changer Intensive course in Japanese Language. The team has translated and subtitled more than 100 course materials, created Japanese online platform, and host weekly small group meetings over Zoom conference call technology. By March 2018,196 people (cumulative) from all over Japan (and 3 other countries) have participated in the Game Changer Intensive in Japanese language.
Movie “Vision of Achuar”
In October 2016, 19 Japanese participants visited Ecuador Amazon with the assistance of Pachamama Alliance. This trip was the quest to the root. This trip, the spiritual tradition of Achuar people and the message the delegates received, was captured by Japanese filmmaker Yukari Tatsumura and turned out to be a 60 min. film "Vision of Achuar: a message from Amazon to the modern world." Currently public viewing is being held.
