With so many negative headlines, it's easy to feel overwhelmed, or unsure of the best way to help, or wondering if it's too late anyway.
We are excited to share with you an inspiring, uplifting and empowering approach to the issue of global warming!
Reversing Global Warming: Introduction to Drawdown is a 2-hour workshop that invites you to see both the possibility of reversing global warming and that you have an important role to play in that process.
- Learn about Project Drawdown, a comprehensive scientific study of 100 solutions that, together, could actually begin to reverse global warming by 2050
- Connect with people in their community to find inspiration and discover new possibilities for addressing global warming
- Learn how they can change the conversation about global warming from “game over” to “game on!”
Convened by the Berwyn Heights Green Team with support from Greenbelt Climate Action Network. Workshop materials are provided by the Pachamama Alliance.
Interested teenagers and youth are encouraged to enroll and participate in the workshop. Participants who need to bring young children: we will set aside a corner of the room for reading and quiet activities.
Light refreshments provided. Please bring your own cup and plate.
In the event of a winter storm on February 16, the workshop will be shifted to Sunday, February 23.
