Join our 2019 AGM - 22 Oct

You are invited to attend Be The Change Australia’s 2019 Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 22 October, 8pm-9:30pm AEDT, by conference call or in person.

Some of the projects which Be The Change has supported in the past twelve months:

  • In Western Australia, the It's Up 2 Us campaign has continued to see a strong focus on the intersection between climate change, health and social justice. The most exciting development this year has been the expansion of on-country Cultural Programs with Wadjuk Nyoongar elder Dr Noel Nannup, including purchase of a trailer for these trips.
  • In Vic and WA, BTC members have been facilitating The Pachamama Alliance’s Drawdown Initiative, which is based on Paul Hawken's Drawdown: 100 solutions to reverse global warming
  • Andrew Gaines is continuing to drive the Great Transition Initiative to inspire mainstream commitment to transition to a life affirming culture.  The Great Transition Initiative has continued to form partnerships nationally and internationally.
  • Jump Up is having a sabbatical, but continues to make its innovative educational materials for primary school aged children available through creative commons.
