Coastal Nature and Sound Immersion walk

Event date 24 May '20 14:00 - 17:00
Event location Melbourne • Ricketts Point Foreshore , Beaumaris, 3193, VIC, Australia

We invite you to embark on a journey of connection with nature, with each other, and with ourselves.

How our day will unfold:
2:00pm -4:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time: We will meet at the Ricketts Point car park and gather at the car park. Rachel DeSumma will guide a Forest Therapy walk, offering a series of sensory and mindful invitations along the coastline.
4:00pm: The final hour of the collaboration will be a relaxing sound bath complimented by voice, sound tools, and the elements of nature led by Danielle Steller.

For the Nature connection part, we will slow down, walk or sit mindfully and immerse ourselves in the natural world, exploring with our senses. There will be opportunities to share if you wish.
We will complete our day with an hour sound bath: the gentle healing of ancient gong, quartz crystal and Tibetan singing bowls, rain stick, chimes, and voice, working in co-creation with the soundscape of the waves crashing, the wind whistling and the birds chirping will lull us into a deep state of relaxation and a feeling of oneness.

Investment is $30 AUD waged $25 AUD concession and spaces are limited.
