Journey into the forest together with a small group to ignite and nourish a deep appreciation for the natural world.
This is no ordinary bush walk. We will not cover a large physical distance. This experience is about depth and going deeper within ourselves. It invites you to walk meditatively, connect deeply, and experience your connection with nature in a way that you may not have explored before.
During the experience I will invite you to slow down, walk meditatively, and engage in a number of activities, prompts if you will, to connect deeply to the natural world. To embrace the world with all your senses.
The afternoon will look something like this (with room for fluidity):Gather at 10:00 am sharp
10:05 commence and 'arrive'/ ground in the space, get to know each other
10:15 Engage in forest immersion activities
12:00 Tea ceremony and group share
12:30pm return to the starting point of the walk
This walk is limited to 15 people to ensure an intimate experience.
I wish to make this accessible to all and I wish for the experience to be of value for you. Therefore I am asking for a donation to contribute to the cost in running the event. I would suggest between $30 for waged and $20 unwaged. A percentage of profits will be donated to a local forest protection cause. If cost is a barrier, please contact me to discuss. I am open to exchanges of skills or produce.
To be confirmed and sent out once you have registered for the event. Please register at the latest by 5pm Friday 13th September.
If you can no longer attend, please inform me as early as possible so I can make your space available for others.
The event may be cancelled in the event of extreme weather, high winds, heavy rain or other unforeseen circumstances. In the case that the event is cancelled I will offer you the option to reschedule and join another walk or receive a full refund.
Your ticket secures your place. To better understand your interest in attending and to start you thinking about our connection to the natural world, please email me at email@example.com the following:
1. What is something in nature that inspires you?
2. If you had to chose one aspect of the natural world to be grateful for, what would it be, and why?
3. A contact numberI will email you with details of location and meeting place.
Please note, I will do my best to ensure that the walk is a safe and enjoyable experience. Please be aware that you are the expert in your own health and engage in these walks at your own risk.
I look forward to journeying with you into the forest :)
