Join the SWFL RESET Center and SWFL Pachamama Alliance for
a RESET Conversation about Permaculture and Urban Food Forests.
This will be an inspiring discussion with Marco Acosta and Alex Nikesch - FGCU Food Forest experts
The FGCU "Food Forest seeks to elevate the environmental sustainability of the institution through providing organic fruits and vegetables to the campus and southwest Florida communities. Ultimately, through engaging the hands, hearts, and minds of students, alumni, staff, faculty, and community members, the Food Forest will offer a space for the cultivation of lifelong learning and for a commitment to sustainable food and living practices."
This conversation will be about what a food forest is and the guiding premaculture principles that inform the Urban Food Forest Movement that is starting to take hold. We are partnering with Florida Gulf Coast University and want to support the existing food forests, make a new one on our RESET/UUCFM Eco-Preserve and to become a hub in SWFL for growers, community gardens and food distribution centers.
This will be a RESET Zoom discussion.
