Drawdown Solutions: Getting into Action is a four-session workshop that supports you in finding your unique contribution to reversing global warming and getting into action with a community of like-minded individuals. These vibrant workshops bring people together as a community to address local and national global warming solutions. We'll meet for four Saturdays in a row, from 6 June until 27 June.
The theme of the first session is Discover. In it, we'll:
Connect as a group committed to a shared goal
Experience the context of possibility for reversing global warming
Understand Project Drawdown and the 100 Solutions for reversing global warming
Understand the structure, expectations, resources, and intentions of the workshop series
Select two Solutions to begin exploring individually for next week
Session 2 will help us deepen our understanding of Drawdown Solutions
Session 3 will explore communicating about reversing global warming
Session 4 will give us an opportunity to get involved with solutions and help us develop a plan to disseminate our knowledge and our plan to connect with the wider community.
Come by yourself or bring friends and colleagues. If you have three or four people you'd like to work with to reverse global warming, you may find it helpful to come to these sessions together. Think about bringing people in your neighborhood, church, workplace, or other organization. Please have everyone register separately because space is limited and so the conveners can bring the right number of handouts.
If you want a smaller commitment, consider taking one of our two-hour Reversing Global Warming: Introduction to Drawdown workshops. If you have any questions, please post a comment here or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
