Pachamama Alliance of the Rochester Area invites you to an online Seeds of Hope gathering April 5, 2020
“Connecting Deeply in the Face of Social Distancing”
1:30-3:30 pm EDT Sunday, April 5, 2020, online via Zoom or phone
As COVID-19 rapidly spreads, we are entering a place we have never been before. We can let our anxiety and fear keep us apart. Or we can use this time to deepen our connections to our Source, to our Earth, and to each other. As Lynne Ungar’s poem “Pandemic” says,
Do not reach out your hands.
Reach out your heart.
Reach out your words.
Reach out all the tendrils
of compassion that move, invisibly,
where we cannot touch.
Through whole-group processes and small breakout groups, we will:
- Learn and practice tools for creating compassionate space for supporting each other through the challenges and concerns of these times.
- Discover the resources and gifts that can help us navigate these uncharted waters
- Send blessings to those most impacted by the crisis
- Develop intentions for bringing meaning and hope into our interconnected world.
The event is free, but you must RSVP by Friday, April 3, to get the access instructions. To RSVP, click on the yellow “Enroll” button at the top of this page. If you have difficulty with that or have any questions, email Dave at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Feel free to invite others to join you. Our Zoom format limits us to 100 participants, so please be selective.
If you want to have a video connection, make sure you have Zoom on your computer or the Zoom app on your phone. You can get it for free at https://zoom.us/download. Or you can just call in without video.
We look forward to connecting with you there!
