The Awakening the Dreamer Symposium is about waking up from the “dream of the modern world” that is destroying our planet and way of life. We are feeling the impacts of this "dream" right here in the Heatherwood community with oil and gas wanting to drill in our back yards.

Through videos, slides, presentations, and discussions, we initially deal with some difficult concepts, but we promise that you will leave feeling optimistic, empowered and inspired to help create a new future that does not rely on old ways of thinking.

We'll start with an examination of the ways in which the current "dream" of the modern world is impacting the environment, our relationship with one another, and our own sense of purpose. We'll explore how this all came to be, and we'll confront the unexamined assumptions that are at the heart of the current crisis we are in—as a species and as a planet.

You’ll hear about the new story emerging at this time in history—a story that recognizes how profoundly connected we are with every one and every thing. You will come to see that a new future is possible and that a huge, unstoppable movement is already emerging that is committed to creating a new story for humanity.

The Pachamama Alliance was founded in 1996 with the goal of bringing about a more environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling and socially just human presence on the planet. This vision was in fulfillment of a thousand year old prophecy which foretold of a time when the Eagle and the Condor would come together again and out of that union a new world order would appear that would bring balance and harmony to the world for a thousand years. The Eagle, representing our modern society and the Condor, representing the indigenous cultures, did come together in 1995 and the prophecy is being fulfilled.

Come explore where we are, how we got here, what's possible now, and what is yours to do, all through the lens of story. We each have a role to play in bringing forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet. Whether you are already clear on your role, or if you are new to these ideas and are looking for clarity, and if you are eager to connect with others on the same path, then come join us to deepen your understanding and open your awareness to new possibilities. The time is now to act. Be aware. Say yes. Please join us to explore how your passions and gifts can be applied to co-creating a global vision built on Environmental Sustainability, Spiritual Fulfillment, and Social Justice.

All are welcome, the event is free, and no RSVP is required. However, if you do get a chance to register in advance, that will help us prepare enough supplies. Love donations will be accepted.

You can REGISTER ABOVE on the right by clicking the orange "ENROLL" button.

We look forward to sharing this experience with you!

What to bring: Pen and paper and a water bottle.
If you are able, then feel free to also bring a dish to share (If there is enough interest, then we will also have a potluck at 6pm after the Symposium). We have refrigeration and an oven in case you want to keep it cold for the afternoon, and/or heat it up for the potluck.

Please note: The venue has a Longmont address, but actually it's just west of 75th & Lookout in Gunbarrel.
